Klara and the Sun (2026)

English • Sci-Fi Drama • 23 October 2026

★ 4.5/10 Full Review

Ek khoobsurat khayal jo screen par itna meetha ho gaya ki uska wazan kho gaya. Jenna Ortega ki Klara me jaan hai, par Taika Waititi ka adaptation Ishiguro ke novel ki gehraai ko whimsy se replace kar deta hai — isi liye RT par sirf ~24% critics iske saath hain aur US opening sirf $725,000 rahi. India me film English me hi aayi hai, Hindi dub ke bina. Jo log slow, bhavuk sci-fi pasand karte hain, unhe kuch lamhe milenge; baaki logon ko ye 'twee' lagegi. Final rating 4.5/10.

Tu Hai Meri Kiran (2026)

Hindi • Romantic Thriller • 23 October 2026

★ 4/10 Full Review

Idea brilliant hai — ek purana flip phone jo 2026 ki Kiran ko 2016 ke Samar se jod deta hai — par execution us idea ko sambhal nahi paata. Critics 1 se 3 stars tak bate hue hain (IE 1 star 'hare-brained', FPJ 2 stars 'convoluted treatment to a brilliant plot', BH 2.5/5, Filmfare 3/5), aur box office ne bhi muh mod liya: Day-1 sirf ~₹14 lakh net. Copyright dispute ke baad release hui film ki kahani uske release se zyada interesting nahi ban paayi. Final rating 4/10.

418 (2026)

Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil • Horror Thriller • 23 October 2026

★ 5/10 Full Review

Medical college hostel ka 15 saal se sealed Room 418 — premise me dum hai, atmosphere bhi hai, par scares limited hain. Telugu critics 2 se 3 stars ke beech hain (123telugu 2.75/5, m9.news 2/5) aur 'scariest film' wali social-media hype ko kai reviewers ne nuksaan-deh bataya. Chaithra J Achar ki performance aur BGM ki tareef ho rahi hai. Day-1 final ₹2.65 crore net (Sacnilk) — critics ki tarah box office bhi thanda hai, par paid previews (₹0.66 cr gross) ne opening ko sahara diya. Final rating 5/10.

Clayface (2026)

English + Hindi (dubbed) • Superhero Body-Horror • 23 October 2026

★ 7/10 Full Review

DC Studios ka sabse ajeeb aur sabse daring bet — ek Batman villain ki body-horror origin story jo superhero film se zyada ek tragedy lagti hai. Critics divided hain (RT ~76% Fresh, Metacritic 59) par early audience clearly pyaar kar rahi hai (95% Popcornmeter). India me English + Hindi dono me release hui hai — R-rated hone ke bawajood — par Day-1 final sirf ₹0.75 crore net raha (English ₹0.65 cr, Hindi ₹0.10 cr). Film ki quality aur box office ki kahani alag hai: dekhne walon ko pasand aa rahi hai, par theatres me bheed nahi aa rahi. Final rating 7/10.

Titans (2026)

Malayalam • Fantasy Comedy Thriller • 22 October 2026

★ 4.5/10 Full Review

First-show ka 'one-time watch' wala optimism ek din me bikhar gaya. Formal critics ne film ko nakara (IE 1/5 — 'tiring, unfunny disaster'), aur box office ne bhi muh mod liya: Day-1 sirf ₹0.65 crore net, Day-2 me -95% ka crash. Concept me jo chamak thi, wo execution me bujh gayi — second half predictable, fantasy world me conviction ki kami. Jayasurya-Vinayakan ki jodi aur budget-friendly VFX hi bachi-khuchi roshni hain. Final rating 4.5/10.

Udta Teer (2026)

Hindi • Spy Comedy • 23 October 2026

★ 6/10 Full Review

Ek Pakistani spy jo yaaddasht khokar khud ko Indian officer samajhta hai — concept me dum hai, execution me confusion. Critics 2 se 4 stars tak bate hue hain (News18 2.5/5 'tonally confused', MovieTalkies 3.5/5 'hilarious patriotic comedy'), audience bhi mixed hai. Nepal me film par official ban lag gaya hai. Day-1 final ₹4.10 crore net — predictions ke upari hisse par — par 15.65% occupancy batati hai ki hall aadhe khaali rahe. Final rating 6/10.

The Paradise (2026)

Telugu • Period Action Drama • 24 September 2026

★ 4.5/10 Full Review

Badi opening, bada scale, bada budget — aur bada disappointment. Nani ki career-biggest opening (₹34.65 cr) aur career-highest grosser (₹173.24 cr worldwide) banne ke baad bhi The Paradise trade ke hisaab se FLOP hai: critics taqreeban ekmat (~2–2.5/5), audience ne second half ko reject kiya, aur makers ko BMS ratings tak band karwane pade. Anirudh ke gaane aur Nani ki commitment bacha nahi paye. Kal se Netflix par 5 languages me — wahan shayad iski doosri zindagi shuru ho.

Comrade Kalyan (2026)

Telugu • Period Action Comedy • 9 October 2026

★ 5.5/10 Full Review

Mixed verdict — Sree Vishnu aur Satya ki comedy first half me kaam karti hai, par dated writing aur weak second half ne critics ko divide kar diya (~2.5/5 average). Audience thodi warm rahi (NetTV4U par 3.5/5), aur box office ne surprise kiya — 11 din me ~₹15-17 cr worldwide. Time-pass family entertainer, zyada ummeed mat rakho.

Whalefall (2026)

English • Adventure Drama Thriller • 16 October 2026

★ 6.5/10 Full Review

Claustrophobic survival thriller jo apne outrageous premise se sach me khelta hai — critics divided (RT 71%) lekin audience clearly saath (83%). Austin Abrams one-man-show me damdaar hain, par family-drama flashbacks aur endgame ki bhavukta film ko 10/10 hone se rokti hai. Box office par weekend bel-ly flop: $60M budget ke against ~$17M opening.

Baththa (2026)

Tamil • Action Comedy-Drama • 1 October 2026

★ 8/10 Full Review

Ek khatarnak gangster aur ek 8 saal ke bachche ki unlikely jodi — funny, moving aur Vijay Sethupathi ke purane charm ki wapsi. Family ke saath dekho.

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion (2026)

Hindi • Suspense Thriller • 2 October 2026

★ 8/10 Full Review

Finale formula par hai, lekin performances aur tight first half isse dekhne layak banate hain — franchise fans ke liye paisa vasool.

Jailer 2 (2026)

Tamil • Action Thriller • 15 October 2026

★ 6.5/10 Full Review

Rajini fans ke liye full paisa-vasool mass entertainer — par Jailer Part 1 jaisa magic second half me nahi hai.

Nayyi Navelli (2026)

Hindi • Fantasy Horror-Comedy • 16 October 2026

★ 4.5/10 Full Review

Concept interesting aur Yami mehnati — par weak writing aur doosre half ki mythology khichdi ise dubo deti hai. Sirf Yami ke fans ek baar try karein.

Other Mommy (2026)

English • Supernatural Horror • 9 October 2026

★ 4/10 Full Review

Chastain poori jaan lagati hain, lekin kamzor script aur be-asar scares is Blumhouse horror ko bacha nahi paate — sirf hardcore horror fans try karein.

Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story (2026)

Hindi • Biographical Courtroom Drama • 16 October 2026

★ 7.5/10 Full Review

Rajkummar Rao ka powerhouse performance aur gripping courtroom drama — serious cinema pasand karne walon ke liye must watch.

Street Fighter (2026)

English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu • Action Adventure Comedy • 16 October 2026

★ 5.5/10 Full Review

Critics aur fans me saaf divide — Rotten Tomatoes par 41-44% critics vs 80-82% audience. Game ke fans ke liye colourful, loud popcorn entertainer; fight choreography me dum hai, par kahani bikhar jaati hai. Day-1 India par slow (₹1.05 cr net), global opening weekend ~$70M ki ummeed.

Ranabaali (2026)

Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam • Period Action Drama • 16 October 2026

★ 5.5/10 Full Review

Mixed verdict — Vijay-Rashmika ki chemistry aur interval block highlights hain, par slow screenplay aur ~3 ghante ki runtime ne Day-1 par nuksaan kiya. India net ₹9.25 cr, worldwide ₹16.50 cr — Vijay ke top-5 openers me, par 'hit' kehne se door.
